Gunslinger concept fairly stupid in D&D games unless you have revolvers or magical equivalent.
Pathfinder one was also silly. Iirc it was also ranged touch attacks.
Its just easier to not have them.
I messed the build up. My initial idea had true strike via feat. I could use wisdom.
Then decided I could get it via EK while forgetting it gets it off intelligence.
Purpose of thread is to catch oopsies like that.
So original idea is.
Human
Magic initiate druid+wizard
Hex lvl 4 via...
Fun gane radical level.
Turned into a treadmill to much with mythic cards, essentially loot boxes and high priced foil sets.
Noped on out.
Have thought of playing sealed at pre releases. Sell everything i open even at a lose its a few bucks for some entertainment.
Stargate Atlantis beats most things not named Babylon 5 or Andor imho.
SG1 is more mixed.
SGU is Picard S1&2.
SG1 S6 or S7 onwards they never knew if they were going to be canceled iirc.
Most of us here dont blame you personally.
Few who do are more attack the source if it conflicts with their preconceived notions.
I do blame you for playing AD&D and Basic line again due to an old interview. Late 3.5 i was wondering things line "this wasnt a problem in 2E".
Generally...
I think people over looked it early 2014.
2016-19 was kind of the peak quality wise. They were never good at APs pretty art, enthusiasm and good other product hid it.
The design goals was to get peopke to play it.
Balance as 6 oeopke on this board would define it doesn't matter.
5.5 is fairly good at levels that matter class to class generally.
Level 13+ not so much and still easy mode with monsters.
Its more chatacter and metaplot driven than say Trek. 4 main characters plus supporting ones.
More DS9 vs TNG. Generally avoids the dire season 1/2 "curse" of trek.
I'm doing vendors myself kinda like BG3.
"Mubdane" items are generally available with 3 curated items. They'll restock occasionally.
Youll be able to find a +2 polearm for example but a specific type wh speed might be very hard to get.
Im honing to experiment with bastions and crafting...
They still exist. Wraith were doing fibe, Michael's death was ambiguous.
Gou'ald got smashed but good writing could make them a threat but more cell/shadow threat. Maybe more replicators exist somewhere.
Easy to create a new threat as well.
Quadratic wizard us more the non damaging spells.
Fireball didn't break 3E. With 5E hit points a 3E fireballs weaker until lvl 9 and 10.
And fireballs fairly mediocre most of the time.
