Alleesha's Pantry The ashen stink of the Slags presses in on all your senses as you draw near to Alleesha’s Pantry. The building itself is a squat brick edifice, crudely cobbled together. Yet through the pantry’s glass windows, you glimpse something unexpected an almost cheery glow spilling out...

Alleyway "If any of us did pick up a sod like that, we'd take 'im to the mortuary. If the dustmen remember where they put 'im, you could always try magic to get a hold of his 'spirit.'"

Alleyway "Pay the music," he places his hand out not saying how much he wants. Common tactic for someone in the hive to get more than they really would settle for.

Alleyway Luke you notice that these men are collectors, one of the gangs of Sigil. They're an unsavory lot, but they don't look for fights. Instead they loot the dead and sell the bodies to the dustmen, the head of the pack of six speaks up "Eh, a gad of em barmies gettin' boxed. It's like they...

Luke & Mr. Black ((Plus whoever else joins)) The body lay against the alley floor. No blood slicks the cobbles, no scorch marks kiss the stone, and no sign of struggle marre the narrow space. Just a corpse. The air reeked of refuse and damp rot, but death itself had left no signature anyone with...

@Neurotic Just to be clear the mad man who was screaming and cursing was the red headed man.

The Hive Conversation carries on as the red haired man slinks into the alley the final bit of conversation you get out before you hear a sudden shriek of "No, get away from me! The flies-urhk!". OOC As a group do you press on to the pantry or investigate the shrieks?

@Brendan Byrd I wouldn't consider a source book I misread as house rules, its great that you are very familiar with the setting but every DM is going to interpret it differently and make mistakes. If the source book I have says that roads change and maps don't capture the area so it gives me...

The Hive You walk down a straight, wide street in the Hive, following a path to the slags. The air is bitterly cold, and rain continues to fall in dull gray sheets, slicking the stone beneath your boots. Ahead of you, a tall, red haired man staggers into view. He wears a battered brown...

I just told you the map scale is about 10 square miles, you can go left to right in 2 miles and north to south in a total of 2.5 miles either way as it wraps around. Nothing should take more than an hour to travel through.

The map I'm using the Gatehouse, the mortuary, the blood pit, and ragpicker's square are all part of the hive, the entire area about the size of Manhattan is filled with the xaosmen faction the armory is also here.

Yeah, maybe I misread Sigil for the hive. If that states at 10% of Sigil you are looking at (10 miles 1.4-4.6 million) a place with a similar size and population density to the Manhattan (13 miles 1.6 million) Burrough of New York city. Edit: Im using a map from 1994

As you can see the gate house is in different places in your map then on mine, the answer is that Sigil is ever changing with alleyways that multiply and reproduce new sections appear and others disappear and rearrange so there isn't a 'Map" of Sigil just landmarks. The area with the butcher's...

Some of it is that is a very small map however as a map of Sigil doesn't exist, but the slags being near the blood Pits and the ragpicker square being on complete opposite ends of my map and the text saying its a twenty five mile area length gives me my distance. I will post the most basic map...
