I took a look at the playtest and it says starting hp is max of 1 die roll plus con mod. All the pregens have +1 or 2 more than this suggests. Also is it me or did everyones die roll go up except rogues? From a 1st/2nd ed perspective.

Hey everyone, I haven't played much since 2nd edition. I dabbled in a session of 4e but the DM running it was horrible. Misread a green dragon having ACID reduction and made ALL attacks resist 10 damage for a group of lvl 3's or so. Anyways, I figured this would be something fun to spend time...

Been thinking about getting a group going again but we have the dilemma of usually having 2-4 people only, usually never all at once. And on top of that its usually a batch of strikers... So anyone come up with some good ones?

I was thinking Deft Strike for a rogue would be chancy without a high defense to Opportunity attacks, but then saw that if someone Marked by a fighter attacks someone else, then the Fighter can pop him one. So If I did a zigzag back and forth like move passed the Enemy, that would trigger an OA...

Just trying to wrap my head around some misc stuff. So no penalty for holding stuff, so can I run around with a dagger in my main hand to attack like normal, but have a shuriken in my off hand to have on standby in case I wish to throw, and not throw the dagger?

I dunno if its me being new or the crack pipe again, but am I missing something? Also i see theres over 2500 at a time here, I guess thats why the pages are a lil slow to load?
