By the way, not only do you no longer need a 100 gp pearl to cast identify, you don't even need the identify spell anymore to identfy a magic item. It can easily be done with detect magic, which can be cast at will.

As far as I know the Tome of Batte is one of, if not the least liked 3.5 book around the Paizo offices. So I wouldn't get my hopes up. To me this is a good thing, ToB wasn't really 3.5 anymore.
