I've been working on a campaign world (D&D) and I'm thinking a spellpoint system would fit better than the standard spell-slot system of D&D. So I'd like suggestions on what you think is a good system, preferably either freely available on the internet or a system you've come up with.

If you were to give mutation points (From d20 future) if a character took an LA how many mutation points would you say is reasonable for say... a +1 LA? Also, is the "Modern" category appropriate or should I have used something else?
