GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

That's the sort of graphic in the Reward tier windows. One for each of the 3 cover types and each combination.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

ALL REWARD TIERS are PDF + Code to buy the Hardcover at cost (ie. +$37 or +$60). The Add-ons are: God Reaper STL (£5...approx. $6.65) God Reaper vs. Cthulhu STL (£10...approx. $13.30) Would have loved to have done physical miniatures for this but without a 500+ Print Run and a Fulfillment...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

I am just trying to give everyone a fair deal amigo. I know RPG books are not cheap (in general) and DrivethruRPG's Printing Costs are a tad high (notably the Premium Quality). At the same time its 480 pages and 5 years of effort so I have to make a bit from it so I can keep writing. Going by...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Very Minor update to the Pre-Launch Page, notably the Kickstarter Pricing: I have lowered the Pricing of the 3 versions very slightly to accommodate Late Pledges: All the following tiers are PDF + Code for Hardcover at Cost. Cover A (God Reaper) now = £28 (but £30 for Late Pledges) Cover B...

I just updated the Prelaunch Page to add some information: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/godrules5e/god-rules-players-guide-for-5e Launch Date (August 12th) now visible at the top. New details on the Artists Sketch Edition, New Pricing (£25, £30 & £35 clarification) and Tiers (Back...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Hey there ApollyonFall. Yes, it's mentioned on the page - though I should make it more prominent. Apologies. Kickstarter Launch date: August 12th running til September 10th. I think I will have the PDF finished by the end of October. However, I am going to say December (just to give myself a...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

At least DR 23. Off the top of my head...with DR 23, base 8000d10 on a punch (before Divine Boons), likely his first Boon being Ultraluminal speed with Dex 80 giving him +7 attacks, so 11 attacks with a Flurry.

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Hey Geminisaga777 buddy! :) Well I am currently unfamiliar with those Anime/Characters. However, when I get this book finished I might look into them a bit. Of course, when you guys have the book in your hands you can always create any character you want! ;) I appreciate the love buddy -...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Hey Arcanist amigo! I think this hinges on the technicality of becoming impossible to even write their name. Your 'basic' erasure from existence type effect is something you are likely to see from Eternals (DR 19-22). The inability to even 'write their name' might be something more akin to...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Ahoy there GreatestHonor amigo! To simply destroy all life on a planet you could possibly do it in a bunch of different ways, trying to recall a few spells off top of my head... Volcano is a Level 16 spell Land of the Dead is a Level 17 spell, that Animates all the dead in an entire country...

    Metamartial Feats (For 3.5e)

Having read over the document now in a bit more detail I have to say I like some of the later Meta-Martial Feats you added there - at least one of which will influence something in God Rules. ;)

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Just for fun here is an unofficial Rules Preview build of Frieza I hastily rustled up. If you spot any obvious mistakes let me know. This is a version of the absolute weakest incarnation of Frieza that appears in the show. I'll likely post some official Preview pages of God Rules in a day or...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

That's certainly true, but historically 90% of the market is either North America or the UK (both places DrivethruRPG Prints and Ships from) and their shipping rates seem relatively low $6 for USA, £5 for UK. Yes. that's it. I don't want to charge backers more for the Print Version when they...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Happy to hear all opinions lichmaster. I'm in the same boat. I prefer a physical copy but running out of shelf space. Shipping via DrivethruRPG still seems fairly cheap although their Printing Costs are relatively high. Makes sense. Well a few things as regards that: 1. I typically set...

I Wore Every Hat in My Second Crowdfunding Campaign – Here’s What I Learned

Two quick questions Mike (if you have the time). 1. Are you saying 2000 backers is your threshold for the Offset Printing route and by extension the use of Backerkit? I'm anticipating my Epic Tier Kickstarter next month God Rules: Player's Guide will sell less than 500 physical books, I assumed...

GOD RULES: Player's Guide (5e) Kickstarter Pre-Launch Page

Howdy lichmaster! :) PDF Cost = the amount I make from each copy Hardcover Cost = the amount I make from each copy + Printing Cost* + Shipping Cost* *In the Kickstarter Printing and Shipping are paid separately to DrivethruRPG If PDF Costs £30 (approx. $40)... ...then Hardcover Costs...

I Wore Every Hat in My Second Crowdfunding Campaign – Here’s What I Learned

I priced it and I just didn't see myself selling 500 physical copies in the Kickstarter. So Drivethru was the best option - the fact that they do not take a percentage of the Kickstarter was the biggest incentive though.

I Wore Every Hat in My Second Crowdfunding Campaign – Here’s What I Learned

I'm baking hot in my shorts and vest here in sunny Belfast where it is currently 21 degrees and rising. I suspect Germany is a 'tad' warmer. ;) That is awesome. So the networking paid off. I'll look into getting VTT support for my next book. Just had too much on my plate first time around.
