The Immortal's Handbook: Gods & Monsters (unfinished)

Firstly, apologies for the slow reply koumpou, had guest staying with us last night and no free time.

hey i just bought the 2023 version of immortals ascension hoping it would have any more content than the old one but from what i have checked thats not true, not disappointed though the art is fire and well i may or may not have used a pdf version on the past so i did end up supporting in the end which i consider to be a good thing,

I appreciate the support - glad you like the book. I did add the new stat-blocks at the back; they were from Gods & Monsters, not Ascension.

i hope to see more things in the future as your work is not only very well thought out but also fun as well,

Thanks.

Good news is the next book is God Rules: Epic Heroes.

Bad news its for 5th Edition.

But I actually think it would not take much of a tweak to work with 3.5E or Pathfinder.

i have been running a 3,5e epic campaign since 2020 and my pc's are around level 38 now,

That is awesome. I hope my Epic Bestiary still has a few monsters in there that give them a challenge? ;)

although in my campaign i have changed quite a few things from immortals ascension its still my core book for the divine realm of the game,

Its humbling to know people still use my book after all these years.

if i have the tiniest complaint it would be that certain things are tied with content that was never released, for example the lord of steel cosmic ability gives the cimeriel template that would be released with epic bestiary volume 2,

Yes apologies about that - 3E was a nightmare to design epic material for, so many skills, feats, spells - FWIW 5E is a lot more approachable. I just got burnt out on 3E.

As for the couple of things that referenced later books, yes there were meant to be multiple books. Thankfully it was only a handful of powers among several hundred.

I seem to recall other people have filled those gaps on these forums.

thats not a real complaint though more like a reference i know how life and such projects can be,

Yes the best laid plans often go astray. But I do regret not doing another Bestiary and Grimoire back in the day.

hope you are doing fine

Aside from recent eye surgery and waiting for 3 more eye operations I am doing great.

and are planning on releasing more content

Yes, but all for 5E.

God Rules: Epic Heroes - Kickstarter should be finished next month.
God Rules: Epic Artifacts - Summer 2026
God Rules: Epic Campaigns - Winter 2026 (I hope); has 40 new epic monsters and an Adventure
God Rules Epic Bestiary - sometime in 2027; has 112-120 new epic monsters

Its possible some of these will be converted and released to 3rd Edition, but I need to finish books before they get converted.

Oh and expect the Cimiriel in one of those upcoming books...

damn that some cool af art, being burned out from 3/3,5e is absolutely understandable especially the far realms of epic and divine, hope your surgeries will go just fine and i will keep an eye on any new releases, you are awesome man

damn that some cool af art,

Cheers; artist on that one was Jiao Mileski. He has done about 40 pieces for me - most of which will be in the Bestiary - like the Abominator.

being burned out from 3/3,5e is absolutely understandable especially the far realms of epic and divine,

Its an overly complex system to design for.

hope your surgeries will go just fine

Thanks for the well wishes. First eye surgery went well, but still 3 more operations to go. 🤞

and i will keep an eye on any new releases,

The Kickstarter has went well - the new book is shaping up to be amazing.

you are awesome man

Thanks for the kind words...I'm WAY to slow but the end product is, I hope, usually worth it
