Agreed. The possibility there’s more to their home world than a suburbia however might be an interesting reveal. Are they part of Hux’s new program to develop better imperials?

Trailer Skeleton Crew | Official Trailer | Disney+

There was a Han Solo book about a treasure hunt this made me wonder if they using that as a guide to what they're doing. I agree there's something seriously off with their homeworld possibly its a link to the First Order and Hux's attempts to breed a new generation of Imperials. Is that boy...

Famous Five was a children's TV series, Channel Four did a comic take on them when that channel first started. Otherwise they're a book series don't know about the Treasure Seekers though.

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

Sorry I need to go through this thread again, but does this sound like a set up for a PVP campaign? So DM's can't interfere with bastions but players can? So whats stopping the DM handling such idiotic actions in game rather than letting their game devolve into a PVP mess? The two examples...

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

Hasbro's OGL fiasco played a big part in that. After it was released there was some word of mouth, but the lack of promotion also hurt it. For example back in 3.5 wasn't there a feat allowing a druid to wild shape more times? Chris Pine's character would have worked better as a rogue rather than...

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

Which is where your DM comes in. Just because the book says no doesn't mean its no to them! Those parts have hirelings for example what if they're the ones that have access and your character is working or helping them and they're repaying your aid with access?

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

There's more to this than you realise. I've preordered this book as its the only one I'm actually interested in. I believe these rules can be used with other editions and games not just 5.5 or whatever they're calling it. Once they released the phb they released the errata and I believe this...

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

But it deserves a reminder because bad dming does exist no matter how many times bad player's gets mentioned. And I think I understand why its in the dmg after all in my experience its rare for a campaign to be set in one location primarily. Its something I'd enjoy doing, but the impression I...

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

Agreed, but having my last experience of a campaign ending because of a DM who would do this that doesn't mean I don't recognise player's are just as capable of messing up. Watching Treantmonk's video on this, its pretty good.

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

You know that Pub could serve as the cover for the bastion itself. I recall a series of books involving Sparhawk a knight making use of a secret Knight base located at a Inn allowing them to enter the actual Fort located across a wall they had the means to cross without anyone knowing about it...

D&D (2024) Dungeon Master's Guide Bastion System Lets You Build A Stronghold

Up to page 7 currently of this. Makes me wonder if they use a Feat to gain access to a Bastion initially and then work to improve on it noting they can't wander away anywhere otherwise risk losing if thos mention of the rules are accurate. Off the top of my head I'd go for a Sanctuary and a...

Did anyone mention the novel based on that adventure yet? I had the Goodman Game version which covered both this and the other adventure from back then. What if you set it in medieval earth so those raiders are all human instead? The cult of chaos within the keep has helped establish and...
