I am not fond of other races or classes however I have a kinship towards mages and elves. I despise humans and brute fighters.
During my childhood I just felt like I didn't belong. Thus, I left my village at an early age. The outside world was hard and made me despise humans more and more...
Ok just one question they used to be creatures of the underdark but no lowlight or darkvision?
Besides that I love them, and I would love to see more races from you.
Have you considered pumping Con on the dragonborn instead of Wisdom. The deserts are harsh and dragons are tough so this could work. Plus it would make them less inclined to be Clerics.
+2 Charisma +2 Physical for half-elves could work. Giving them a choice of Con, Dex, or Str. Wouldn't it...
I like the half-elves better but still I am disappointed.
Nonetheless, I hate the dragonborn and still think the should not exist and will not allow them in a campaign if I run one. Thus, they are the winners.
Though halfings and tieflings get a mention for horrible fluff but good mechanics...
Agreed, When it comes to fluff 3rd edition didn't change nothing much at all besides Modrons, Kobolds, & Mephits sadly to my dismay.
As for mechanics it changed quite a bit in 3rd. However, many staples remained.
* I'm betting humans get +2 to any one ability. The human cleric had 36 points, and (surprise!) an 18 wis. Take s off that and you have 30 points, which is what the warlock started with. Either humans have +2 wis (unlikely) or they have a +2 flex bonus.
All characters were supposed to be built...
Thank you so much Wotc. I pre-ordered. However, if the tribute remains I may even by the leather bound versions.
The First DM died on DM's day before 4th edition was released: March 4th 2008
D&D has helped me in so many ways. I know he will truly be missed by all.
Gary I wish you well in the next life. No more fumbles from here on out. :( :)
D&D is Table Top role-playing game. Acting and imagination is fundamental. Miniatures and visual aids are not necessary to jump in and play as the DM is an avid story teller and he can easily set the seen.
Traditional Icons of D&D:

Alignment: Law, Chaos, Good, Evil

Found on the wizards message board so I am cross posting it.
The racial traits are clear on this page so enjoy.
Half Elves are supposed to be able to multi-class well what does this mean?
According to races and classes Half-Elves could take a blood oath to a parent race does this mean they would be able to take Elven, Eldarin, Drow, or Human feats? if not what...?
Do humans or Half-Elves receive random...
So, we have a Half-Elf, Halfling, Tiefling, and Dwarf. Hummm 4 down 4 to go. Who played a Human, Elf, Eldarin or Dragonborn? eh I can wait. Just wish I could read the Half-Elf sheet better :( . Oh well, can't win em all. Enjoy all
