2 players looking for any edition D&D game within 30 min of New Brunswick, NJ or near Morristown, NJ. Looking for a game running about twice a month - on Fri, Sat or Sun.

Where were you thinking of playing? I'm in piscataway, which is a bit of a trek, but it's close to woodbridge.

Have we seen higher level healing spells yet? I don't recall any. It would make sense to me that at lower levels, you improve peoples existing recovery, but as you increase in power, you get better at it, and eventually can heal people outright.

It only seems limiting since you are comparing it to earlier editions. If flight had been a much later power in 3rd Edition (or earlier), you wouldn't see this change as limiting. Also, there could be a much more limited version of flight as an earlier power. That's quite the jump there...
