Remember these MERP/Rolemaster critical hit tables?

We used them in 3rd edition D&D on criticals/natural 20's as well. Good times. The d100 system is a little tedious to do arithmetic with, so we usually avoided the base Rolemaster system/s. Reminds me a little of HARN.

Another "Armor as DR" thread... wait, damage RESISTANCE?

Isn't the attack vs. AC roll essentially a damage resistance roll? Why add the extra percentile? If anything you could roll a percentile of achieving damage soak to avoid redundancy; of course the problem with soak is finding a number large enough to make a difference at higher levels, maybe...

    MERP to d20 Conversion 9/18/22

This "work" is not original, based mostly on source material from Middle Earth Roleplaying (I.C.E.) using d20 System rules (including Dungeons & Dragons 3rd/4th Edition), and serves as an extremely condensed set of house rules. The aim was to preserve the flavor of MERP using flexible skill...

    files removed?

I don't recall getting a message or query; where would I see that? I update those files when I have chance, usually on the weekend, which recently has been most weekends. Should I note updates on the referring thread or is there a tag line/subject line when I edit the files? Thank you.

Attention EN World overlord. Some files I had uploaded to the Downloads Section under Miscellany regarding a conversion house rule set of 4 have been removed. Is there some violation?

Middle Earth (MERP) d20 House Rules 1

This "work" is not an original, being based on MERP and Spell Law sources, and using D&D 4th Ed (including a touch of 3rd/d20) mechanics which combine flexible skill development with a class-based system. Rules derivations are numerous and tedious...
