I just received this book and was wondering what you guys think about it, I'd like to know if I should return it for a replacement, or just hold onto it. I've uploaded some pictures to Google Photos, I'm worried about the separation near the headband, my other Pathfinder RPG Hardcovers don't...

All good points Parmandur. On another note, I love how Paizo offers you a lite version of their PDF's to download, once you buy a book in PDF form. It's too bad the DMGuild didn't offer the same thing to it's customers; information on the lite version here.

No but it gives the willing to pay players, more incentive to take the "free" route instead. Pathfinder PDF books are $10, vs D&D's $12-$30 range (roughly), I mean, common!.

For those of you who like to add custom portraits to your characters in PCGen, here's a website that's been around forever, with lot's of old school artwork to choose from. Chosen of Mystra's Custom Portraits.

Any money they get from their PDF's are pure profit, their D&D books are no longer in print, and the PDF's cost no money to make once created, no ink, no paper, no manufacturing costs.

I can buy two Pathfinder PDF books for the price of one D&D 3.5e PDF book, it's no wonder why their books are pirated, and available on various websites for free.

Alright, sorry for posting so many times people, thanks to everyone who posted. I'm really happy with PCGen, and will be sticking with it. However, "Hero Lab" will not be getting my money, after reading about the program being heavily DRM protected.

Okay I've got it working now, is there any other files besides the deities.lst that needs to be used in conjunction with it, or am I good?.

Okay, I've created a "players_handbook" folder under the "wizards_of_the_coast" directory, and placed the modified ph_deities.lst inside, see below... "C:\Games\Dungeons and Dragons\pcgen\data\35e\wizards_of_the_coast\players_handbook" It doesn't load the changes when I launch the program...

PCGen is a pretty sweet program, you have to add the deities by working with code due to copyright. I've done searches and didn't turn up anything regarding this...has anybody added all of the D&D 3.5e core deities already?, and have they uploaded the modified file to download, so that no work...

I don't have Microsoft Excel, I was looking for a program just like Redblade, but improved. I don't want a program where it does everything for me, I want to be able to input my rolled Ability Scores (that were rolled using real d6's), I want to be able to select skills, feats, equipment and...

Have them identified at a temple or store (for a price), invest skill points in Lore, buy potions that increase your Lore in order to identify the items, or, at least that's how it works in video games. :p Seriously though...invest skill points in "Spellcraft", check out the page over at...
