As per title. Let me explain in the post.

(Can we have a blog entry tag?)
As this was one of the winner's of the poll conducted a couple of weeks ago, I hope you have a great Friday with this exciting mini draft of sports rules.
Congrats to Bedirthan! Glad to be working with you buddy!
Worlds To-Go: The Elysians has met it's funding goals for a wealth of content...
Here's some A5e pre-gens that I've been working on. I hope you'll find them of interest. I expect I'll add to them over time.
Charity, Human Adept
Lorna, Half Elf Fighter
Nimrodelle, Halfling Marshal
Orion, Dwarf Ranger
Thistle, Gnome Herald
Trelloni, Tiefling Warlock
A talented designer is doing a design or two and has asked me questions.
I thought it would be fun to make it someone else's problem as I'm going to do whatever anyway, but there's a Wisdom to crowds!
With an upgraded offering which includes:
Mixed island and coastal terrain encounter tables
Upgraded and customised travel scenery and exploration details
At least one Magic ship
A gazetteer style culture
Pre gen characters
Perfect to make the leap from running 5e to running A5e or, even...
Well that's nice. I've launched my Kickstarter. :) If you want to get playing rather than prepping I think you'll be very pleased with the proposal. There's a lot of cool art and cool rules and I'm just pretty pleased with it already. :)...
A rules as written Tiefling Warlock

The second level for that half elf fighter. (I'm pleased with the cover!) Bit more ostentatious but gets stuff done.

So Graeme Barber did a great set of posts about gaming on (and under) the high seas (not just pirates) and A5e is very much the easy way to implement this.

With supporting blog post for more detail...
Hasbro is moving to online only, in essence. This will mean that many new role-players won't actually ever have played a game where they've had to use pen and paper.
I thought I'd write a bit about that what with having spent time teaching adults very hard things and teaching players new...
I have strong opinions on making character sheets and how they help people learn and understand your game.

Part I is here...
Was doing a bit of thinking about one of my hobby horses, character sheet design. What do they tell us about a game and what are we telling our players that we don't know we're telling our players.
I wouldn't share this but it seems to be moderately well received elsewhere...
Perhaps you are interested in telling people about why they should play A5e?
I wrote two articles, one for prospective narrators, one for prospective players.

I'm having a go at running To Save a Kingdom. Maybe this will help you out if you've been feeling stuck.

I thought it would be nice to see if I could make weapon properties exciting. Magical weapons doing cool stuff was the key.

Summary:
Minor technical issues but nothing that time and money can't sort.
However, the QoL improvements which WoTC/ Hasbro are baking in are also means to restrict homebrew settings and "Hacks" such as 3rd party content.
If you're heavily invested in running RAW, don't worry about it...
If you're interested in Mastodon stuff I thought this was quite a good guide. There isn't the problem of the algorithm making your posts disappear.

Apologies for cross-posting, this appears to be a more relevant forum to post the list of episodes about the TTRPG industry. Streaming, publishing, indie, etc.
https://homebrewandhacking.com/2023/06/16/industry-episodes/
5 years of podcasting has produced some valuable insights into the TTRPG industry, including streaming, publishing, distribution and even pay rates.
I compiled a list, see below.
