The big difference between this and the Next playtest is that last time they issued adventures to try with the rules and in some cases pregens. I wonder how many voters actually tried the rules. I know from my own playgroup that some would just vote for a anyth that made their characters stronger

I’m glad that they seem to be limiting the races to those in the lore. I kind of got the impression that WoTC don’t like saying “no” to player options

I think you are losing more than you gain by letting players run characters that don’t fit in with the background of the setting. By keeping Warforged in Eberron and Kender in Dragonlance etc it helps define the differences between the settings and makes them feel more special and distinct
