Just a guess, but are you copy-pasting the first bit? That's probably changing the format (the font looks different, too), and explain why your second post is fine. If I were you, instead of using CTRL + V, I'd right click, and choose "paste as plain text." See if that fixes things next time.

Neither your font nor your colour are the site default, which says to me that you're copying and pasting your posts after typing them somewhere else. Presumably that somewhere else has a colour and font set, which is carrying across to here when you paste it.
