Hmmm, that feat breaks the already interesting Ur-Priest. The 5 levels come fromy your entry classes. You can get 9s at what...15? This would allow it at 14 then. Scary.

That shield is just WOW..

If that is a major artifact, I'd say something that gives +1 in a caster level would be quite minor compared to a major artifact (still a powerful magic item.)

I am just trying to decide how much something like this would cost...I personally dont see it as over powering....And I am the DM.

The Orange Ioun stone I guess would be a good starting point..it costs 30k, but doesnt take an item slot, so it would be a 15k price on an item slot.. Just to decide how much more.

just reminding that:

You cannot take this feat in the same level that you also receive new Spells per Day from a class.
