Monster Junkie
Primeval
This week, we bring you ten more prehistoric perils.

If you've seen the wonderful BBC series "Primeval", you're undoubtedly familiar with the gorgonopsid. We've got three varieties for you, the small, swarming Lycaenops, the bring-em-down-and-tear-them-apart Arctognathus, and the massive Inostrancevia.

Two more thersapsids make their 3.5 debut, the charging Estemmenosuchus and the venomous Euchambersia.

Rounding out the bunch are five more dinosaurs: the spiny Kentrosaurus, the trampling Lambeosaurus, the prosauropod Massospondylus, the savage Megalosaurus, and the truly colossal Mamenchisaurus.

Monster Junkie
Mammals, magical beasts, and megafauna
This latest batch includes several real-world mammals, the beaver, giraffe, musk-ox, okapi, and tapir, as well as the extinct dire beaver (Castoroides). We've also got the magical giant beaver, primitive debbi, and the gargantuan, crocodilian wani. Rounding out the batch is the probably-never-existed giant iguana.

Monster Junkie
Stalking in a Winter Wonderland
Nine cold-weather critters make their debuts, including the psionic haun, their massive haundar slaves, and four varieties of the insectile sha'az who oppose them. We've also got the polar bears who become frost giants (not the other way around!) polarweres, the massive furred ice serpents, and the elemental snow mischiefs.

Rounding out the batch is the "suitable in any weather" life-bane duplicate template. However, since it can resemble any humanoid or monstrous humanoid, it could be found in arctic areas.

Farewell to Feybruary
This month, we dedicated our conversions to fey. The few fruits of our efforts include the orchard-defending ashira, the subterranean-protecting averx, the tomb-tainted dancing callicantzaros and great callicantzaros, the flame-camouflaged fiery face, the earth-gliding gahonga, the feral plainsjan, the "water extortionist" p'oh, the watery splanxty, and the fear-feeding thunder children.

Monster Junkie
Ginormous!

Ten big brutes stomp their way into the Creature Catalogue from land, sea, and space. These include the nausea-inducing bosk giants, the goblinoid cave lords, the lesser and greater sea giants, the crablike sartani, the dragon-eating swamp giants, the sorcerous fhoimorien giants, the accurate jungle giants, the cyclopean island giants, and the monolithic earth giants.

Spring Blooms Deadly
Spring has arrived around these parts, so what better time than to begin thinking green...as in plant monsters!

This batch includes the tree-like noran, killer spruce, walking tree, and greater treant.

We've also got the vinelike arid bloodthorn (and its planar variant) and telexian vine, the flowery snap dragon, and the fungal mold wyrm.

Rounding out the batch is the blood-sucking spear grass and a staple of speculative fiction, the giant venus fly-trap.

Monster Junkie
Verdant and Verminous
Among the green leaves and flowers of springtime lurk some deadly creatures. In some cases, it is the plants themselves, such as the thorn-flinging Bohun Tree, the choking Grab Grass, the swarming mosses (bog, forest, and swamp), the light-blasting Giant Sunflower, and the bloodsucking Vampire Vine. Other dangers move among the plants, including the giant versions of the caterpillar, grasshopper, and walking stick.
