I've actually not used a lot of software, but maybe that's just because I don't have a laptop at my game. I like to do initial character generation with PCGen, and then print of the webpages, but sometimes I think pen and paper would just be simpler.

- You make all characters start with one level in an NPC class.

- You typically go 3 to 4 game sessions with little or no combat, and claim that anyone who has more than one combat encounter per session is power gaming.

- You once spent an 8 hour gaming session where the characters all roleplayed a typical non-eventful day "so, how about this weather?"

- You purchase a set of Onyx Dice, and set them on display, never to actually use them, so as not to run the risk of causing any wear and tear on the dice.

- You have two sets of 1e D&D books, the set that you use, and the set that everyone else is allowed to touch.

- You've never run a campaign where characters go beyond 5th level, and consider anyone who roleplays a character above 10th level to be a munchkin.
