101 Epic level commoner duties.

With recent threads such as "level 1 hero or schlub" and "what level is your local average NPC"...

I was inspired by joke in the unicorn naming thread, which will have the honor of being the first entry in this thread.

The goal of this thread is to come up with commoner duties, but those that might "give xp" at higher levels or require a very talented/expert commoner (I'm thinking 3e levels of 15+ or 4e levels of 20+)

1. Gelding a unicorn (by poster TwoSix)
2. Training a griffon.
3. Growing the herbs for expensive potions (I imagine they're pretty hard to grow).
4. Fishing for giant squid ink.

5. Repairing the gates of the castle while the invading armies of demons attack.

It takes guts to try to make a craft check with a balor killing PCs near you.

7. Bringing your turnips to the farmer's market....in the City of Brass.
8. Herding behirs.
9. Mucking out the stable... of Feral Half-Dragon horses.
10. Exterminating the ants in the vegetable garden. Of course, the ants are formians.
11. Tilling the fields with your +5 vorpal hoe.

8. food tester (for poison)
9. grave digger (in pretty much any D&D setting, that's a dangerous job!)
10. vintner (of assassin grape wine)
11. dung shoveller (of a stable of nightmares; of firebat guano)

13. Manicurist...for trolls. (they grow back so damn fast! And if one hand isn't "soaking", the rending chances go waaaaay up.)
14. Dressmaker...and all the fabric you have to work with are Cloakers.
15. Street sweeper...in Trapper City.
16. Sausage maker...especially when those orders for Black Pudding come in.
17. Trapper/Furrier...trying to make a buck selling/collecting Owlbear pelts.
18. Court Jester...in the court of <insert Demon lord, Devil Prince, the Unseelie court here>
19. Sahuagin Fisherman...either a human fisherman of sahuagins or a sahuagin who is a fisherman in/near a human community...both would be extremely dangerous.
20. Falconer...training dire hawks and hippogriffs, but specializes in working with rocs....heh. Guess that would make him a Roc'er. :p
