30. Start a Comunity. At higher levels some of the most fun I have ever had with dungeons and dragons is building my own Castle and starting a comunity around it. I feel there was much more room for this in earlier editions but their are suplment books to support it in all 4 and is great fun! The key is to not get to bogged down with the detail but leave enough that the PC can get really attatched to it. Also provides great adventure hooks and a focal point for the whole campaign

31. The Indecisive Party at the Crossroads. (In my halfling campaign, the pcs spent almost an entire game session going one way, changing their mind, going the other way, stealing and frying up giant eagle eggs then "who us?"ing their way through a conversation with the giant eagle, then going back to the crossroads AGAIN hunting for mushrooms or something to add to the food kit before finally wandering off into the next session. And it was one of the most fun games, for both myself and every one of the players, in the campaign- we still refer to it from time to time.)

32. Good Samaritans: While traveling to, from or between adventure locales, the party comes upon a family with a dead horse and a broken wagon wheel. They are poor but good folk who need to get out of the wild before worse befalls them. Do the PCs help?

33. Visiting Parents

The heroes have been getting quite famous, and news of their exploits reaches the old farmstead (or palace, or mine, or burrow). Someone's Mom (or Dad) shows up on the doorstep. "Oh, it's been so long since I've seen you! Have you been eating well, sweetheart, you look ghastly...oh, where did you get that nasty thigh-scar. Let me see it...[tries to lift up the tunic to get a better look at the thigh]...oh, for heaven's sake, be still, darling, there's nothing there I haven't seen before..."

That night, she tells all the embarrassing baby stories.
