101 ways to increase the MMO experience in 4th edition

78. Defeat the orc horde one or two orcs at a time by "pulling" them away from the group while their comrades ignore their screaming deaths.

79. Occasionally, NPCs will hand the players handwritten notes that are so huge, they force the players to abandon loot because they cannot carry any more.

80. Dirty leather bags that hold six small items cost as much gold as a sturdy sword. Really large bags are created by renowned craftsman who virtually name their price.

81. If a character in the campaign has ever had the same name as your current character, you must add a number or . to the end of their name.

82. There are rats of every conceivable challenge rating.

83. Fire (green fire, blue fire, red fire, etc) is the single most deadly aspect of the game during boss fights.

84. If you die in said fire instead of moving out of it, you must scream at the cleric, "WTF man, why I get no heals?"

85. It's cool though, 'cause in the next book, Clerics will get the ability to pull you out of the fire, so you can then yell, "WTF man, how come you didn't life grip me?"

84. If you die in said fire instead of moving out of it, you must scream at the cleric, "WTF man, why I get no heals?"

LOL!

The cleric replies " Fire is bad n00b," /kick

at which point you will be asked to leave the table for the rest of the adventure.

If this happens in too many adventures you will not be invited to any more dungeons and will be forced to move to a new town with a new DM. This costs $$.:p

87. If the player fails a Will save, the player must play 4e immediately, whatever the consequences. This Will save gets increasingly more difficult as your character levels. As a real person, your Will save bonus will not scale accordingly.

Turn up to the next gaming session naked and tell everybody you got hacked.

Get to maximum level as fast as possible, then grind incrementally small gear increases for the next couple of years.

All loot is ranger loot.

88. Whoever plays the wizard has to bring drinks & snacks for everyone.

89. A freshly killed animal will sometimes yield a rotting carcass instantly, be careful of warm climates.

90. The best way to draw out an ambush is to bring a first level character with you on your epic adventures.

91. Ask the DM if you can auction your loot instead of vendoring it for 20%.

86. beware of week enemy's standing in the open, there may be high level enemy's hiding in the bushes waiting to kill you! lol
Nice usage of lol as a sentence final particle.

92 Regularly discuss online which class is "the broken" and needs a "nerf" as well as which class is "weaksauce" needs some "love" ... oh wait

93. Raise dead is now free.

94. Sitting right outside the town gate and murdering other PCs as they come and go is now acceptable and encouraged behavior, particularly if it is done for the lulz. Due to #93, you can do this over and over again to the same people in just a few minutes.

95. When someone new comes to the table, take a trip to the Tomb of Horrors or other killer dungeon without telling him exactly where you're going, then laugh when his character gets killed. Then you loot his body if there's anything left. This is especially funny with #93 if you get the noob killed behind a locked door. Then you can laugh at him some more when he tries to come back and collect his stuff. Finally, take the stuff back to town and auction it, preferably back to the previous owner at a markup.

96. Every so often a random person asks to join your group so he can do the quest your party is on. Then, during the middle of the adventure, the person leaves your group inexplicably during the middle of a fight.
97. Every so often a random person asks to join your group so he can do a quest that your party is on. After the boss fight, he steals the treasure while the party is discussing who gets the magic item, and then leaves.
98. When you ask the GM a question, they often don't reply to you until after you figure out the answer for yourself.
99. You often have to go through the same dungeon more then once to get an item that you want. More often then not, the items you find while adventuring are ones that are better suited for lower leveled characters.
100. You have one main (maxed level) character that you use, one character that sits in an auction house, one which you use as an extra bank slot, and at least one character you play when you get bored with your main character.
