Depending on the final date I will probably run at least one session. Probably an Eberron adventure or Savage Worlds. Still undecided.

GenCon rocked, and I can't do anything about the gameday until next wednesday. You'll know when I do.

We're aiming for a Saturday in October, but the date is going to be entirely dependant on when they have space available.

As of Friday September 2nd I'm semi-in charge of TerpCon Fall 2005 in conjunction with the officers of the Terrapin Gaming Club. I posted a message earlier today in one of the other sections (http://www.enworld.org/showthread.php?t=146568) opening the floor to GMs interested in running games at TerpCon 2005 with absolutly no knowledge of what was going on here at the ENworld forums. I actually found the current thread by accident when looking for info on D20 Star Wars...

A summary of the current situation:
We have three rooms reserved for October 29th at the University of Maryland, College Park that have already been paid for by the Terrapin Gaming Club. This date is effectively set in stone. I'm sorry the voting thread didn't influence our decision; we (the club leadership) didn't know about it. We are currently looking into hiring security to oversee a vendor's room (University policy reqires a police presence for any event where currency is exchanged). We will not be doing registration via the forums here but instead have a third-party registration system that will go live once we feel GMs have had sufficiant time to register their games.

That's about it so far. I encourage anyone who is interested in running a game to take a look at the thread in the gamers seeking gamers forum and to let me know so we can add their game to the registration system. I would also like to emphasize that the Terrapin Gaming Club officers do not participate in the ENworld forums, so unless it goes through me or the terpcon@gmail.com email address chances are they don't know about it.

If anyone has any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me or terpcon@gmail.com and I will try to get back to you as soon as possible.

Andrew Beard

Well, it's disappointing that the game day is pulling away from ENworld, as we've been instrumental in its inception and organization in the early stages of the bi-annual event. Nonetheless, if you have a decent registration system, I am sure that all will be well.

Andrew, I would *strongly* encourage you not to ignore the community here, as a very large percentage of your previous attendance has come from this messageboard. :)

I'll probably have to miss out on this one. Our house closes in mid-October, so we're just going to be far too busy around here to make this one. My 8 months' pregnant wife would probably take objection to me leaving anyway. :)

Hopefully I can make the one in the Spring.
