I'm originally from that "Blue Mountain" area. Actually, I just moved to VA less than a month ago. But not from there.

Blue Mountains. I can almost see the Blue Ridge from my house, except for the other houses and trees in the way... Where in VA are you Seonaid? As Rasyr has pointed out upthread, I'm in Charlottesville (and he needs to get it right-I'm a two time ENnie Judge :) )

Cutter, count me in on the Savage Worlds game. Are you using the original rules or the revised rules? Or are they close enough that it doesn't matter?

picky picky picky.....

Besides, aren't there a couple of large hills (or are they small mountains) between C-ville and the Blue Ridge?

:D

I was just in Charlottesville on main street for work, and stopped in the hobby store at the end of the street. It's an excellent store in an ab-fab location in a great town on a perfect day. Is Charlottesville always like that?

Yep, C'ville is pretty much like that on most days. Fridays get a bit crazy downtown with the free concerts at the end of the downtown mall, but yes, it's a great town.

The shop on the end of the mall is a great location, but not my favorite game shop in town (although it used to be). That position is held by Atlas Comics (www.atlascomicbooks.com), which is not in as great a location, but has much better customer service and selection of RPGs.

If you are going to be in town again, drop me an email and I'll meet you for lunch or dinner if you have the time.

Oh Wilkes-Barre of the unpronounceable name. Even the locals can't get it straight! ;)

I live in Fairfax . . . and speaking of which, anyone interested in carpooling? I don't know my way around and I'd be willing to help with gas. And I'm cute and pleasant company. ;)

Well, I was planning on Metro-ing from Falls Church into the City and then up to College Park that Sat. morning. If you wanted to carpool, where would you want to meet? What time did you want to show up? What time did you want to leave, etc. etc. etc.?

Be warned though...I've never gone...and I haven't been to College Park in years...so I don't exactly know my way about either...

I live in Woodbridge, have a van, and plan to drive there.

My current plan is to be there for the first session and stay at least until after the second session. But I might decide to stay for the whole thing.

If we can meet at an easily accesible mutual location, maybe the Springfield Metro Station, I can carry up to 6 passengers.

The drive to college park is about an hour from my house.
