15 Second House Rule: Charging Lances

How's this rule: when bull rushing, tripping, or resisting a grapple, use your mount's size modifier in place of your own.

I think the charge damage bonus is covered by Spirited Charge -- if you know how to use a horse's mass to deal extra damage, you deal a lot of extra damage. :)

Good point, but for me at least this will demand a removal of the 15 second part of the thread... :)
 

First: dammit, I knew I shouldn't post that late in the afternoon. Mm. Sleep. Thank you for the correction, btw. Second: Mmm... RAW. Always easier, even if it isn't always plausible. Third: I honestly believe that the strength of the rider means spitballs compared to the size, speed & strength of the mount. Fourth: Spirited Charge. The feat exists to replicate the skill of a trained jouster on a mount. Probably to simplify things and keep you from having to do complicated math (F = M * A) on the fly.
