FLAILING DREADNOUGHT
A flailing dreadnought is a very deadly creature whose very existence seems dedicated to warfare and destruction. They eat nearly any living thing, and attack anything in their vicinity. They also ingest metal from time to time; it is not unusual for a the battleground where a flailing dreadnought was engaged to be scattered with half-eaten weapons and armor.
A flailing dreadnought resembles a huge, floating egg covered in segmented metal plates. One side of the body is dominated by an enormous fanged maw that can be extended like a proboscis when biting. It has dozens of long, metallic tentacles tipped with blades, barbs and spikes; these are usually held within the body, but extend out while in use or when the flailing dreadnought is excited.
