18 int, 6 wis, 6 chr Warforged. Roleplaying tips?

Yeah, I've always seen wisdom as more of the "street smarts" part of it all...

Intelligence is straight knowledge of how things work, wisdom how they tend to actually pan out...

Ever see the TV Show, Bones? The forensic investigator (Bones) is a perfect example.

She just Doesn't Get human interaction in any way, and keeps assuming it is or should be logical. Which, of course, it isn't.

She's a sympathetic, nice, attractive woman. But she has classic lack of social skills.

Add in a bit more myopia and tunnel vision with problems, and you could capture the lack of Wisdom; take things fairly literally.

Actually, thinking about it, high Int, low Wis/Cha fits asperger's and autism, I think.

Oh, and as for Cliff Claven, one thing that's always ticked me off about Cheers... at the beginning of that series, Cliff was RIGHT all the time. He was the infinite source of random, correct, facts. Which was funny. It was only later that he turned into a complete sad sack, which I found a lot less interesting (since it had an edge of cruelty).

Good example, although her Int is highly focused in her field; she has a complete lack of learning (and even less interest) in anything outside of forensics and anthropology. "I don't understand" is a question she asks Booth in nearly every episode.
 

I can't believe no one has mentioned HK-47, from Kights of the Old Republic!

Perhaps it was a subtle comment on the dangers of a decade of excessive alcohol consumption. :)

Actually, Norm...recent research has shown that consuming upwards of six beers a day can actually improve the mind's retention of random facts, especially when conducted in a sports-bar setting. ;)
 

The reason HK-47 doesn't fit is because he has a strong personality. A bit abrasive, perhaps, but definitely not wishy-washy or insecure.

Low wisdom, low charisma, high intelligence suggests to me someone who takes things literally, does not understand irony or sarcasm, and has little willpower and not much personality. Takes orders very well, but doesn't think about or particularily care about the consequences thereof.

In the case of a Warforged, this character will take the direct approach, unhindered by social niceties. Think Cohen the Barbarian in Terry Pratchett's Diskworld

Warforged recieve a -2 penalty to both wisdom and charisma. A score of 8 is low average. Therefore, 6 is low average in both scores for a Warforged. There is nothing munchkin about that.
