1980 = 30 years

Nope. It turns out I learned how to do the math that would have let me predict that 1980 + 30 = 2010 sometime in the seventies. So, that surprise was spoiled a long time ago.
Ah good. Finally, some unabashed literal-mindedness. For a minute there, I was afraid I wasn't on the internet anymore. :)

Seriously, I'm often amazed at how fast time flies now, versus how slowly it seemed to crawl when I was younger. The flow of time certainly doesn't feel constant. But hey, at least I get to the weekends faster, and consumer tech I'm waiting for arrives more quickly.
