1E Unearthed Arcana: Yea or Nay?

I like the crantrips. A nifty edition to the game.

Did not like the inflative ability scores of the Cavalier.

Thought the Thief-Acrobat was a nifty proto-prestige class.

Loved the pole arm illustrations.

Hated the binding.

Depends.

A game without it can be fun, but a game that used the whole thing could be fun too. Likewise anything in between.

I think it was the 1E supplement I liked best. It also got plenty of use, which shows: it's almost completely torn asunder. My all-time favorite: the chromatic orb spell!

The 3E UA didn't do much for me, though. About the only thing I liked (at least in theory) were the paragon levels. I never used anything from it in my games.
