True enough. Mind you, I hate horses to begin with ( I don't trust the buggers), so it's all Aegeri's.

they are sticking to the 1st boxed set, thank goodness!

Source? Not that that's a bad thing... though there are some things in the revised set that I liked.

I believe it was Rich Baker that said it. There is a general backlash towards the revised set, though I agree there are some pretty cool parts that I'll work into my game.
I do like the idea of Free Tyr, though - I think it's a good place to have in a D&D setting. It looks like Altaruk, though, is going to be the default base for Dark Sun... the "Loudwater", as it were. I think I agree with the choice - it's a good place for PCs to start out, and it's pretty much right in the middle of the map, conveniently.
