+2 Charisma

I believe there were creatures called changelings (that oddly enough, had no changing ability) in an older issue of Dragon that had a +2 to charisma. They are sort of a half-fey creature. I think the issue was around 18 months ago or so ...

The Eberron campaign setting is set to feature a race called changelings, but it is unclear whether they are the same creatures or not. They are previewed in Dragon #317 (March issue), but I have not seen it.

When getting all the racial abilities, I prefer the buyoff, because a 3000xp one time cost is cheaper. But I do like that as a way of getting some of the abilities of the powerful races, while still playing an ECL+0...I'll have to point that out to the other DM in my group.

One problem with aasimar is the favoured class, if you want to build an Brd1/SorX.

IIRC, Star Elves even have Bard as fav class.
Good point. If you're going to multiclass in a way that favored class matters, then that's an issue. I prefer to take a PrC at level 5 or 6, and if I take two base classes, I can keep the levels close, so I don't consider favored class much.

the changlings from ebberon are called shifters they are basically lycantrope touched they have +2 dex -2 int -2 cha and they have the power to enter beastial forms for a limited time that increase a phsyical stat so they would be useless for a sor/brd

There was that one dragon magazine that had half nymphs.. I'm sure they gave some bonus to charisma.. probably +4 or +6.. It's been a while since I looked through it, though.

Pureblood Yuan-ti...

They get +2 Cha, +2 Int and +2 Dex
Of course they have Level Adjustment +2 and ECL 6

Actually I liked them better in 3.0 where they had Int +8, Wis +8, Dex +2, Cha +6

*evilgrin*

It's good a DM always gets to play what he wants ;-)
