monsternomicon deserves the credit, and it was everything it needed to be, everything except followed up at a predictable pace. oh well, i'ts this patience that gets us such great products, if only this mindset would get over to the software world, and the folks at WOTC.

Big congrats to Expeditious Retreat Press and their stupendous product, A Magical Medieval Society: Western Europe! This book has greatly expanded my understanding of medieval culture, helped me resolve several background story notes for my campaign world, and led me to imagine dozens of interesting campaign plot hooks. MMS:WE is now a staple of my RPG collection and my favorite product ever alongside the core rulebooks. Please make more A MAgical Medieval Society books! May I suggest Southeast Asia and India?

My two favorite publishers finished with the Silver and Gold for "Best Publisher". Congrats to them and to everyone else!

The GR staff has to be especially ecstatic, they got like 8 awards, including the peer award. Pretty amazing, I think.

EN World itself (but not, I believe, it's hosted sites) and E.N. Publishing (and thus Ambient and Natural 20) weren't eligible to because of the appearance of conflict of interest. Or at least they weren't entered because of it, whether or not its actually written into the rules that they can't.
