Last round Fiendish Codex I: Hordes of the Abyss got the most votes. That leads to the showdown between Fiendish Codex II: Tyrants of the Nine Hells & Player's Handbook II

Be sure to read - In true Survivor fashion, the final round uses a different paradigm. Vote for the product you think is the best!

I gotta go with the remaining Codex, although I prefer FC1 by quite a large margin. Oh well, in true Survivor fashion, the best competitor doesn't make it to the end. :\

Going with FC:II, but only with regret.

FC:I was better, and frankly was one of the best products WotC released ever for 3.x (if not the best period for the edition).

I went with PHB2 because, in the end, it didn't look like it had been bitch-slapped during the editing process like FC2 was.

Plus, I use it pretty much every game :)

I don't think people are reading the question. There is no way the PHBII is better than FC2 (or 1 for that matter).
I think what you are seeing is the result of the Fiendish Codexes not having the vote split between them anymore. The same thing happened in the Core Religion Survivor thread. It was a pile-on in the last round. (167 to 79, Wee Jas over Hextor)

Changing the voting to best instead of worst at the end was probably not the smartest move. There's no way to really know how many people just reflexively voted as they had every other round. Oh, well.
