Wanted to present a menu of options for the "Big Bad" in each monster category. Needed fighting buddies for the tarrasque (though the tarrasque is still the highest CR). The tarrasque as new surprises as well (mention range attacks no longer safe option).

Certainly had a bigger art budget than the previous one... I am liking what I am hearing so far (10 minutes or so in) about the abilities hitting the CR more reliably and recommended skills for max damage output

I'm really liking the new artwork. More than once I did a double take in appreciation and even amazement. And I thought I was jaded about RPG art these days.

Also very glad that the book is now fully alphabetically organized. Want to see a list of all the devils? There will be an index for that. Very happy about this.

Devils and demons have an aggressive, horror style of art. Different monsters have different styles to reflect different ways to play.

I think that this is a good choice, personally, although I anticipate a lot of gnashing of teeth in certain communities.

Although I wonder what a male "Hag" would be called. An old "Coot"? LOL

Still pleased though. Creepy old boogeyman in the woods, like an evil wizard of the swamps.
