Golden Procrastinator
I got today the mail informing me that I could download the PDF, but sadly, due to some unspecified and persistent issues to the download server, I've been unable to get my copy in the last few hours...

The book (pdf) is pretty amazing. The writing is very well done and I like the way they set up the book. There seems to be some peices of art that are reused but since it's been 15 years for some of them I'm not sure how obvous it is.

By persistent I meant that I kept getting the error message at different times during the day yesterday (and I keep getting it today). This is actually the first time that I have trouble downloading a file from them.Yeah, it took me about two hours before the download would start. I kept getting server error messages. I don't use drivethrurpg.com enough to know if that's a persistent issue or not.
That was always the most fun part of cWoD, to me.The writing is awesome. I've been inspired to start writing out a document for My Hometown by Night for my own games.

There's a .pdf available, although I'm not sure if it's available to the general public or just to folks that ordered the hardcover. It seems like the .pdf would be available to anyone that wants it, I'd imagine.
I did, back in college, but those notes are lost to history now.Did you ever do an extensive writeup for your own city for Vampire? I know that many groups played in their hometowns, but I haven't really seen people do much writing about it (except insanely long character backgrounds as big as some novels). I've sort of been carrying it around in my head for years and haven't written much about it. But something about 20th Anniversary edition kicked my fingers into gear and I've enjoyed writing about it lately.

Then again, it might be my coping mechanism for being unable to actually play it right now.I'm running a Pathfinder game that'll probably wrap up by the end of the year, so it'll probably be February or so before I can give it a shot.
