2e module - Falcon's Revenge

First Post
I'm playing a campaign in the Greyhawk setting, and tomorrow I'm DMing the module "Falcon's Revenge" for my players. Has anyone here ever played it? Does anyone have any advice for running it and/or converting it?

conversion's the easy part, it's a big roleplaying adventure with not allot of hack n'slash and allot of intrigue and mystery. There are plots within plots within plots here so just make sure you read up on the state of affairs for the whole thing first.

I ran Falcon's revenge years ago when it first came out so I'm a little fuzzy on the plot. From my campaign I remember that the paladin Talasek was the key to running the adventure, playing him as a decent brave, friendly and trusting guy, always giving people the benefit of the doubt from the start.

In my campaign demihumans always had it rough being non human and having a guy being open and genuinely friendly from the beginning made all the difference. YMMV

I've never played or read these (and don't own them). Are they worth picking up used or as ESDs---I've heard mixed reactions from most GH fans?

I got parts 1-3 off Ebay mostly to add to my collection :) They're ok. I thought the modules "go on" for a while, when a single module might sum everything up. Mostly they are an excuse for the PC's to visit all parts of the Free City. There's the handy cardboard cut outs too. I think a more extensive review might be on rpg.net.
