Don't be so sure that second printings are per se superior, error-wise. The Star Wars RCRB's second printing, for example, simply und myteriously lost all starship weapon's ranges ...

That is an entirely different case. Apart from that, they did pretty well with 3e PHB's Second Printing (released November 2000).

Hopefully they do not make the same mistake with 3.5e as they did with SW RCR Second Printing, which is not labeled properly. It's like Sword and Fist all over again (the book's second printing is mislabeled as "First Printing").

Ughhhh...

I'm really starting to feel sick from reading all the errata on these 3.5 books. I certainly hope enough people buy them soon enough though (after all the important errata gets sent in) so I can get my hands on a decent book.

Toss in the 'random packs' of plastic monsters thing, and I'm just disturbed.

I'm buying a 3.5 MM but I probably will use the SRD for everything else... I may get a book, but I'll buy some yellow sticky notes to go with it, so I can correct the damnable thing.
