D&D 3E/3.5 3.0 Master of Chains, modernized/rewritten to 3.5

Ok updated the first post with almost all the changes you suggested. Damn, your good at this ;)

I've added these stats on the armor.
Max dex +2,
-4 Armor check penalty,
20% Arcane Spell Failure and a weight of light (40 feet of chains = 12lb)

Also changed the level requirements to a bit lower. So level 5 = Fighter lvl4/MoC 1.

More kudo's for you though ;)

As for the DC, you might want to modify it on the bardic music feat Haunting Melody, where the DC is 10 + 1/2 bard level + Cha mod. Obviously you'll want to base the stat off of something other than Cha since a fighter is likely to have horrible charisma.

Charisma is what makes people scary. If someone with a low Charisma is complaining about not being scary enough, that's their own fault; it's like dumping Dexterity and then complaining you get hit too often.

I'm not going to debate that fact... My DM would allow it in it's current setting (asked) althought ofcourse theorettically, it should be on Charisma.

Maybe a addition to Spiked Chain Armor(Su):
If the wielder looses his spiked chain weapon for some reason, he may pull out another one from his armor, but will have a -3 penalty to AC untill he fills in a extra (spiked) chain.

Nothing wrong with the armor giving you an equipment bonus to Intimidate checks. Makes perfect sense. I'm just sick of people saying that Intimidate should be based on a different ability score because Charisma's the dump stat.

If you say so, but then you make the DC somewhat low and the ability somewhat pointless.

Quite frankly, Masters of the Wild suggested that the Barbarian get Str to his intimidate when raging (or performing a feat of strength) so I don't see a problem.

Incidentally, Deepwarden allows Dwarfs to dump Dex and use Con instead to calculate Dex bonus to AC.

Not really. It grants a rather small bonus, and we've already got a lot of good stuff in there as is, so it might not really be necessary...
