3.5? Bah. 3.0

I imagine the "I'm going to stay with 3.0 until WotC pries it from my cold dead hands," crowd is going to understand how the "but I LIKE 2ed," and "Gary's way or no way-1E forever!" crowds felt. I also wouldn't expect any of the new books that come out to have special 3.0 editions or revision notes, either.

Being a fan of more than one non-supported game, I'm sorry, but the decision to stay with the out of print game comes with the understanding that it is out of print.

That's one of the reasons I didn't buy too deep into Monte's concern about players who'll only buy 3.0 or those who'll only buy 3.5. Hell, I'm sure if someone made it, they'd be 1st ed or basic D&D.

However, the majority are well, well under way to go 3.5.`

Do you mean the ABC or the Gamekeeper. Gamekeeper keeps all his stuff until it is sold (just bought a couple of Alternity things a few weeks ago). ABC on the other makes things "dissappear" after a while, but it does take a while.

On topic, I think you're best bet is internet.

Good luck,

Tata.

Edit: I just realized that despite the fact that Holland is small there are other places outside Amsterdam :). If you're not from around there ignore my post as I am an silly twat :).
I'm somewhere between Amsterdam & Utrecht so I have a lot of gameshops around :). I went to what used to be The Cave (can't remember the new name) to get my 3.5 books ... but I go to the Gamekeeper and ABC (especially on Thanksgiving) as well. Bought my LotR-book at a shop with your ID-name :).

BTW I'm not looking for 3.0 books, just telling a poster that there are still new 3.0 books around somewhere.

You mean like Utrecht????

Actually this is pretty typical of most big vs small cities. For example it is why New York is called "The City" and America stops at the East River......

But back on topic - why is WoTC getting the blame here? I am guessing that they would happily sell FLGS 3.0 books - it sounds like the FLGS are simply not ordering them.

As I am the one who mentioned the town Utrecht in this thread, I assume you're talking to me. Alas I have no idea what you're trying to say :)

Edit - I got it, your second line was directed to Maldur's comment :).
