I'm still a little wishy-washy on the new DR system - some of it's kinda cool, but some of it's silly. I hate to keep beating that old dead horse, but you practically have to have one weapon of every type to survive anymore. Course, we invented a spell that alters the weapon's material type temporarily, which saved our collective ass when we fought a couple bodaks (DR 10/cold iron), but still...

The DR you're facing is much less though. In 3.0 you'd find more DR 20 and up while here you'll rarely find anything above that 10. In the Bodak situations (before your fighting types are deeling out mucho damage), it's the spellcasters turn to shine. Pump in the Magic Missle and Flame Strike stuff and poke around with Power Attack (if you can't hurt him when you hit, it doesn't matter how often you do).
