3.5 Fans - Wassup!?!?!

I'm currently running a 3.5 homebrew game that has at least a year to 18 months to go, and I'm playing in another 3.5 game. I'm not overly impressed so far with Pathfinder; while I like Paizo's work in general, it doesn't seem to me like they have fixed the things I thought needed fixing in 3.5. I'm more likely to build my own 3.75 from bits of 3.5 and 4E.

I haven't bought much loot so far, mostly because I tended to buy the things I liked when they initially came out. Like many folks here, I've got enough books to last me for years.

No thanks to Pathfinder. For every good idea they add, they add 10 layers of complex for no good reason (Rage points, I mean you.)

It's possible someone mentions this downthread, but rage points failed their saving throw vs. playtesters, and will not be in the final version of the game.

Presently running my homebrew (3.0 corebooks as base, with lots of stuff from 3.5, Pathfinder etc. in the mix). At the moment I'm just picking and choosing the Pathfinder beta - once I see the final version I may change over.
Things I've picked up this year.
A whole bunch of Pathfinder mods and sourcebooks.
A bunch of Freeport goodness.
A few Necromancer mods.
Some Scarred Lands materials.
A few other odds and ends (that I can't recall right now).
I'm meaning to grab some of the Goodman Games and Malhavoc Press stuff that I don't have before the year's out.

Two of the groups I play with have been doing 4E and as such, it is really just an excuse to socialize for me. One group is lead by our gung ho pro 4E gamemaster. Unfortunately I'm not enthusiastic about his game. A couple of us have considered bring beer to make things more convivial.

The other group is trying 4E to see how it works. The DM has never ran a game before and doesn't project ANY energy. He's very clinical and methodical. Thankfully I've heard from one of the other players that the DM confided in him he wasn't having fun and wants to play again, so somebody has been reading up on Dungeon adventures and is looking to possibly run a 3.5 or Pathfinder game.

My 3rd group is not doing anything because our schedules are screwed up and we are probably lazy.
