And currently Greater Weapon Specialization, Greater Weapon Focus, and Mobile Defense are all "Epic" abilities, but they are non-epic in 3.5.

I'm fairly sure that's what Improved Precise Shot does, if I remember correctly. (Not 100% sure.)

Magical Affinity is prolly from the KoK PG ... let's you cast some cantrips as non spellcaster.

Widen spell? OMG.
Looks like they included some feats like Spellcasting prod or similar ones who give a bonus of +2 to an attribute for special purposes...

Things that come to my mind:

Wasn't Eschew Material metamagic? If it is not anymore, it makes sense for the Sorcerer, even given its mostly usefulnessless.

Tower shields require a specific proficiency, I wonder if they are reviewed also.

GSF and GSS becomes core, despite many rants around.

I wonder what Diehard is going to be, but I bet it's going to be something very useful, since it costs 2 feats.

I supposed they are all meant to be used in conjunction with Wild Shape (or even Shapechange, Polymorph Self if used regularly). In 3.5 many Beasts become Animal, or at least a subtype of them, and they Druid might shape into a Girallon probably.

I am not familiar with all the splat book feats. Can someone give a listing of what splat book feats made the new list and a brief description of them? Much appreciated.

phb 3.5 tops over 100!

Thats a lot of feats. I mean dang. Some things I would have liked to see:

Feats that weren't added:

Arcane Preparation
Dash (a 3.5 version, with good prereqs I think a feat could add 10 movement)
Extra Music
Extra Rage
Extra Smiting
Extra Spell
Extra Stunning Attacks
Favored Critical
Fists of Iron (this thing has been reprinted umpteen times but didnt make it to the new phb? pffftt)
Improved Familiar
Power Critical
Shield Charge
Shield Expert
Supernatural Blow

Divine Feats (rebalanced for 3.5)
Rage Feats (rebalanced for 3.5)
Wild Feats (rebalanced for 3.5)


Feats that didn't get a second tier:

Toughness
Stunning Attack
Skill Focus
Track
Spell Mastery
Exotic Weapon Proficiency (it would be nice to make these more attractive, maybe a couple feats that could only be taken if using an exotic weapon)
Blindfight
Combat Casting
Run

Overall, as with the prc list, I'm very pleased.

...mostly from the splatbooks. At this point they should just say that Skill Focus gives you +2 to any 2 skills or +3 to one. Although I guess that would prevent stacking of SF and these +2/+2 feats...

My guess would be:

Of course, thats assuming these all represent +2/+2 skill feats. I don't see any problem with some of them overlapping at all.
