I loved the command "fall" against fliers :(

 That's not a nice change!

You mean just like the command 'fall' which exists right now, and would work in the same way.

Also - jump/dive/whatever still works - as "approach" and "flee".

You can no longer use resurrection on someone killed by destruction. It needs true res, or a carefully worded wish followed by resurrection, or miracle.

Even though the spell didn't change in this regard, Expeditious Retreat's enhancement bonus to speed will not stack with a monk's speed bonus, as it is also an enhancement bonus.

But a barbarian's speed is not called an enhancement bonus. Lucky @#%@.

Cloudburst, level 3 Wu Jen spell, first edition OA. (Well, you did say ever...

How about Fatigue (OA)?
It's nearly the same as the Touch of Fatigue, a 0-level 3.5 spell.

Geoff.

Edit: Oops. Fatigue is actually 4th level, not 3rd. Still a really lame spell, though!

Protection from Evil (et. al.) now states that it prevents contact from 'summoned' creatures, changed from 'summoned or conjured'. Actually just a clarification IMO, but a good change in any case.

Gah! They didn't change Pro Law/Chaos/Good. They all really pale in comparision to Pro. Evil, with it's prevention of any summoned creature bothering you. Well, attacking you with physical means.

Except for good summoned creatures, yes. I wonder why they didn't update that-to protect against a druid's neutral-aligned summoned animals, you still specifically need Protection from Evil. Very strange indeed.

Scry no longer has rules for spotting the sensor. Bugger.

Those rules have been moved to the section on Divination (Scrying) spells.

I just looked in the 3.0 SRD:

The only way to restore life to a character who has failed to save against this spell is to use true resurrection, a carefully worded wish spell followed by resurrection, or miracle.
