Q:Mithral Equipment 3.5
For one of you kind folks with the 3.5 books. Did the pricing or effects of mithral armor, shields and weapons get changed from the 3.0 version?

3.0 versions
Light armor +1000gp
Med. Armor +4000gp
Hvy. Armor +9000gp
Shield +1000gp
Weapons +500gp/lb
Armor - effects half weight, Max Dex +2, Arcane Fail -10%, Armor Check decrease by 3
Weapons - weight one half

Thanks .. Speaks

The following was provided by Mrs. Dungeon Master who has a copy of the new books.

Mithral Question:
Mithral has 30HP per inch of thickness and a hardness of 15.
Cost modifier in Gold: +1000 for light armor, +4000 Med, +9000 Heavy, +1000 shield, +500 per pound for other items
Armor is considered 1 catagory lighter for movement, spell failure decreased by 10%, Dex bonus increased by 2, Check penalties lessened by 3.

As a followup question, did they say outright that mithral items are considered masterwork in quality? If they did, then mithral weapons would have a +1 enhancement bonus to attack, and the armor's -3 to armor check would include the -1 for being masterwork.

If they didn't, then you can have masterwork mithral armor, with a -4 armor check.

I remember seeing that adamantine items are considered masterwork.

Thanks,
