I am definitely also a big fan of 3.5.
Pro's
Fighters are no longer below par. You really did not need a fighter type in 3.0.
Rangers, Bards, and Monks play a lot better both in power and style. Bards in particular were nearly worthless in 3.0.
The 3.0 haste, harm, and heal had to be fixed. I still can not believe they play tested these spells. The animal buffs also needed the durations reduced. Haste & Polymorph still tend to be one the first spells cast thou. :\
The DC changes allow the less magically inclined classes to be viable longer. After all a fighter has to pay a feat to be +1 with just one weapon.
Psionics finally mesh seamlessly into the game. You finally have a set rules that can do Indian yogis and Chinese mystics.
Con's
The sacred cow paladin (still LG only) with the knight in shining armor on the summon able horse. Talk about a stale stereotype. The Holy warriors from Green Ronin are still so much better.
Wizard specialization really hurts now. In 3.0, specialization was maybe too easy. Of 8 wizard characters that I know, only 3 are specialists. Illusion and Enchantment definitely seem to be the favored schools to give up.
