3 day weekend!

Mine's really more of a 4 day weekend too. I had a tiny bit of work to do this morning but after about 10:30 AM I've had Friday stretching out in front of me like a naked coed saying, "do whatever you want with me!"

So I updated my story hour, posted a message to some other online friends and I think I'm getting ready to have some lunch and settle into a few hours of Railroad Tycoon III. As a bonus, tonight it turns out that my mother in law is going to keep my daughter over for a sleepover so my wife and I can cuddle and watch Sideways on DVD.

Tomorrow the wife is going with friends to see RotS (I've already seen it) and I'll be playing with my child. Then on Sunday I'm gaming all afternoon with NCSUCodeMonkey and a few other folks that I know from the NC Game Days. Then we're all having dinner together afterwards and talking shop.

Monday I'll probably try to update my Story Hour one more time in the AM and take my daughter to the pool in the afternoon. That night is game night for me and my players continue to delve into the intrigues of Sharn.

All in all a damn fine weekend!

Next week my work week is busy but I have a birthday on Thursday and my wife is planning some kind of mysterious surprise so that should be a fun one too. This is shaping up to be a great summer!

I have the bachelor party for one of the guys in my gaming group tomorrow - the last one to succumb. Starting out with some paintball, then dinner and drinking after that.

After that it becomes a normal weekend of errands, housework etc. Hopefully we can get the kids outside for a while. After a solid week of rain they are going nuts staying in the house.

Oh, and Monday I'm going shopping for a bike to start riding to work a few days a week in the summer.

Hire some strippers to be the opposing team for paintball. There might be things more fun than shooting paintballs at strippers but I can't think of any right now!

The wife and I are taking our 3 boys to Chattanooga for the weekend. We'll catch a Lookouts minor league baseball game, and do the aquarium, IMAX theater and children's musuem, all withing walking distance of our hotel.

We took our two boys to Chatanooga last year and had a great time. The aquarium and children's museum are both a lot of fun. We also did the Ruby Falls/Rock City/Inclined Railway Tourist Triumverate

There is a mall in Chatanooga which has a nice gamestore. I swear they had the every Reaper miniature hanging on the wall.

Ah I forgot I have to work Sunday afternoon at my real job, so my weekend is pretty much shot to hell.

Hmm, not sure if the paintball place would go for it, but maybe they could have that as a special promotional night.
