It's a 4-day weekend for me as well...Memorial Day wrapped around to encompass the Friday before at my base, which made today a "miltary family holiday." So, my two sons and I went to go see a matinee showing of "Revenge of the Sith." Tomorrow we might hit the zoo.

Let's see...

Was off today.
Work tomorrow.
Game tomorrow night.
Work Sunday.
Off next week so I can go to a convention in Charlotte that weekend. :)

During some of that, harass my friend, Richard. 'Tis fun. Sith picking on Jedi....

Being in the seattle area, I'm going to stay indoors, surrounded by fans, trying not to melt.

This heat-wave certainly doesn't agree with me...unless I have a fan, and I don't have to go outside in the sun (where, rather than getting a tan like most people, I get a 'pink').

If I'm lucky, I'll be awake enough tomorrow to get some end-of-my-senior-year-of-high-school homework done...if not, I'll probably find some new and exciting way to combine ice, the blender, and fruit.

I have to say I much prefer good, natural 50-degree weather...like it was a week and a half ago...

My 1-day weekend is over already. Yesterday I washed windows, did the yard, shot some Airsoft, read a couple chapters of D&D for Dummies. Today I'm covering so one of my employees can celebrate his son's 10th birthday. Sunday and Monday I work my normal shifts at the store.
But some jobs, you just don't mind working. (Not too much, anyway.)

Hey, Der Kluge, you might be in luck. The weather is looking a lot better here in Rhode Island than expected!

I'm going to be spending the weekend getting our boat ready to launch a week from Monday. With all the lousy weather we've had up here, I haven't been able to paint or varnish at all.

We bought this classic old wooden sailboat (a 1936 Sea Bird yawl) last year, and have put a lot of work into fixing it up. There's still a lot more to get done, but it's at least floatable now. Can't wait to finally get it on the water.

Let's see, Friday I left work 20 minutes early to catch the 5:00 show of Madagascar with some friends and went to dinner afterwards.

Today (Saturday) we're playing D&D (in about an hour - YAY!).

Tomorrow is a true racing fan's dream: The European Grand Prix at Nurburgring starts at 8 AM; the Indy 500 runs all afternoon and the Coca Cola 600 at Charlotte will run all evening. I'll have to nip into work for a bit to run a couple of reports (well, eight) that don't return proper numbers unless they are run on Sunday, but that's pretty painless.

Monday another buddy is having a BBQ.

Then I have a short, two-day, week because I'm taking Thursday and Friday off to drive to southern Virginia and pick up my daughter. We'll spend two days together at Busch Gardens and I'll drop her back off with my ex Saturday night and drive home from there. So my three-day weekend will be followed by a two-day week and a four day weekend (which will include 1,500 miles of driving).

All-in-all, the summer season is off to a wonderful start. I hope things go as well for everyone else as they are going for me now.

Housework today, playing the second-to-last session of an excellent Stargate campaign tonight, planning for my upcoming Eberron game tomorrow, and pining for my girlfriend all day Monday -- until I pick her up from the airport on Monday evening. ;)

Three day weekend was LAST weekend here in Canadia - Queen Victoria Day Weekend.

The whole famn damily picked up and went to not one, but -two- Irish Dance competitions, on Saturday and Sunday (my wife and I both helped run the one on Sunday, which made it a lot more palatable to me at least, I hate Irish Dance competitions), and then we spent Monday recovering and reviving our old Underdark campaign.
