You're exactly correct Mr. Oberon. He even put up a fight cause our contract doesn't explicitly state he can link back to his site in the product description to sell it there... go figure.

I think this deserves this deserves musical backing.

Sung to the tune of 'People Are Strange'.

People are stupid,
When you're a publisher.
People are morons,
When you sell thier stuff.
They want it for free,
And they want the best service.
They'll whine and they'll scream,
Till you've have enough.

Mr. Oberon
"Thank you, Thank you, You're all too kind..."

James,
That's pretty crappy! Well, it's a good thing that not everyone is in it for themselves! I'm in the belief of the e-publishing community helping each other out, but we should all benefit. People that are in this thing just to screw people over in order to make money are severely missing the point of community preservation. RPGing requires teamwork, and so does publishing RPGs.

I would personally like to thank you, James, for providing a cheap resource for us small companies to sell our products in. Not all of us can afford to get our books in print, so it's nice to have a vendor out there that cares enough about the community to do them a cheap service. Plus, there's some nice advertising as it is...that guy didn't need to do that!

You did the right thing :) Lesser people (like my vindictive self, lol) would have went one step further and posted the reason for his departure and perhaps excerpts from the "spaz letter" :) It's good to know you're professional, though....

Hmm...off topic a bit, but a slightly quirky thought just popped into my head...ever thought of "www.rpg-soaps.com" ? Detailing the latest scoops of fights, bickering, soap-opera-style gaming sessions...to keep all of us reality-tv-brainwashed sorts entertained? :) Just an idea ;)

I did purchase EoM directly from 3ednd.com. I had some difficulty with both signing up (that was on my end) and with getting the download (that was on their end). However, after the person running the website and I exchanged a few emails, everything was cleared up.

I'm still working my way through EoM, so I can't really give too much feedback on the product itself. I was happy with how much the owner was willing to work with me to resolve the two problems I was having.

Well I donno if there is an object lesson to be had here or not... but 3eDnD.com is out of business. Guess he couldn't do better on his own after all. Oh well...
