3rd Level Crusader

HiHo!

I hope you can help me out in tweking my new Crusader (Bo9S): We will play a short campaign where I will create a 3rd Level Crusader in a group with a Warblase, Favored Soul, Beguiler and Artificer. The "Campaign" will stop around Level 5, so I don't have to care about long-time decicions.

I thougth about using a Warforge or Dragonborn (Breath Type) but I cannot decide which I should take and what Feats would be best.

The Warforge would have a good synergy with the Artificer and I like having all these unusuall Immunities (no sleap, breath, etc.) but on the otherhand a Dragonborn with some of the Breath Feats seem to Rock too ... so what should I take (booth would be fun so thats not my concern) and what feats would be good for the Race/Class Combo (besides Adamantium Plating)?

Many thanks in Advance!

I'm having a heck of a lot of fun with my Dragonborn Warforged Warblade with Adamantine Body. I'm sure crusader would rock as well. Extra Granted Maneuver is basically a must for crusaders.

Extra granted maneuver and Stone Power are quite useful for the Crusader.
Agreed. The tricky part with Stone Power is that it only works with Stone Dragon maneuvers and regular melee attacks. If you don't invest heavily in Stone Dragon, it can be an almost useless feat. If you've got lots in SD, it's a phenomenal choice for a crusader.

Uh, I forgot that you can Dragonborn with Warforge!

When I change to Dragonborn, which Warforge-Abilities will I lose?

In my opinion since I still are a Living Construct Subtype most of the Warforge Advantages stay, but I think I will lose Light Fortification, Slam and maybee the Composite Plating (i take the Adamatium feet so I don't care about the Plating)... am I right?

So many feets are great, too bad that I have only one left ... THX for all the suggestions!

Another Follow Up Question... If I lose the Plating, then I can wear Armor? Should I still take the Adamantium Plating for the DR2 or is it not worth it any more?

Adamantine Body is a total bargain: 16,000gp of equipment for the price of a single feat. The lower the level of the game, the more valuable it is. If you're only going up to 5th, it's a real steal.
