3rd level: fighter/scout or fighter/rogue?

Having just wrapped up a Fighter/Barbarian who would start off with a full-power attack charge, skirmish damage almost seems like an afterthough. Then again, sometimes overkill is just enough.

I'd add a level of barbarian for another 10' of movement. If the DM allows, go with the Wolf Totem variant from Unearthed Arcana and take two levels (so that you get Improved Trip).

It fits the concept. :)

As someone mentioned, Ranger/scout has a much better synergy while staying fairly close to your original concept. By exchanging fighter with ranger, you can take favored enemy undead and then swift hunter, making your skrimish damage work on undead.

ranger2/scout4 then go dervish for a really nice move-around and kill stuff build

1: h1 combat exp
1: r1 dodge, track
2: r2 twf
3: sc1 w focus scimitar
4: sc2
5: sc3
6: sc4 mobility, swift hunter

then switch to dervish.

This is going from memory, but i am fairly certain its doable
