[4e] covaithe's E1: Death's Reach

Cabana: I just realized that I totally forgot about the free expertise bonuses when looking at your sheet. I think all your attack rolls should be 2 higher!

Stonegod:

I don't see that you have any trained skills picked, and your skill listings... don't look complete. The numbers in the CB summary look fine.

Trouble with your feats: you have 2 epic feats there, quickened spellcasting and total aegis. No problems there; you get 1 at 21 and retrain into the other at the same time. But you also have Greater Swordmage Warding, which requires 13 Con. You only get 13 Con at level 21, so you don't qualify for it earlier. I've left off the Quickened Spellcasting for the moment, since that lets me look at everything else more easily.

Stalker of the in-between is referenced, but not listed in your character sheet.

Bleeding Backstab? Rogue tactics? Is this stuff left over from a previous version?

Powers all look good.

So I've had a good look at everyone's character now, except Ata, and they're all reasonably close to being ready to go. I'm inclined to get started -- not tonight, I'm out of time, but perhaps as soon as tomorrow -- and have Anostor come barging in fashionably late when Ata gets things sorted out. Thoughts? Any last second drastic changes?

Problem is, Fey Step teleports you 5 squares, so adding 2 gets you 7. As I read it, the ring's daily power does benefit from its property, so you teleport 8 squares with the daily item power.
Consider it changed... Somewhere down the line, in my mind, Eladrin started teleporting their speed...

Yeah, I need to do some more research, I think. What I'm looking for is to see how the CB handles enhancement bonuses to damage with other powers that don't involve any dice, e.g. Cleave, Reaping Strike, etc. If there's some consistency, that might imply an interpretation.

Damage isn't my main goal anyway, so I'm open to whatever.

Should be listed under adventuring gear in the CB. They grant a +1 to stealth checks to hide (camo) and to move silently (footpads). They cost 30gp for the camo and 5 gp for the footpads.

Thanks for getting to this before I could, much appreciated.

Sorry I haven't done my ritual rolls yet. I'll get to it very very soon!

I'll also get to updating my CS in the RG soon as well.

Well, I still have to scan through the other PCs, and I want to do a final math-check on Sarenax's items, but other than that I think I'm good to go. Thanks for keeping the ball rolling on this one, cov :)

Also ... apparently this is a published adventure! I didn't know they'd published an epic module, at first I thought you were just using E1 to denote that you wanted this to become a campaign if it was successful ... I guess using a module makes the whole mess of figuring out what works and what doesn't at epic level on the DM side a bit easier.

Haha, yes, it's a published adventure. E2 is out now, though I've not read it, and I think there's supposed to be an E3 coming as well. But we've got this one to get through first...

Yeah there's an E3 (not the game convention ;))

You appear to have to battle Orcus based on the front cover, maybe I should sneak over to the Char Op boards on WOTC site to find that PC that kills Orcus in one round ;)

I know I'm excited for :[ame]http://www.amazon.ca/Revenge-Giants-4th-Super-Adventure/dp/0786952059/ref=pd_sim_b?ie=UTF8&qid=1248267163&sr=8-1[/ame] mostly because I love giants (and I need to use those large and huge minis for something)
